FAQs

How do I register for my child to participate in the camp?

Registrations can be made here or at the QSports office between 9:00am – 5:00pm Sunday to Thursday.

How do I change or cancel my registration?

If you need to change or cancel your registration please contact the QSports office to make arrangements. Registration fees are non-refundable however QSports may permit registration fee to be transferred to another participant before the camp has commenced.

What age groups are accommodated?

Kids Camp – 6 – 17 years
Adults Camp – 18 years and above

How long will the camp run for?

The kids camp runs for a duration of 2 days, 18th & 19th July 2019.

The adults camp is a single day training camp to be held on 20th July 2019.

Where is the camp being held?

The camp is being held at Hamad bin khalifa university (HBKU).

When does registration open?

Registrations are open for the camp

When does registration close?

Spots are limited to 200 participants maximum, once the number is reached registration will close.

Is transportation provided for the camp?

Yes, transportation is provided by a contracted service provider. Transportation charges are QAR 200 per child. Please make sure to indicate on your registration form that you require transportation or call us if you have not done so.

What if my child is injured during the camp?

Paramedics will be on-site each day for acute care. If your child is seriously injured or requires further medical attention you will be advised via the emergency telephone number that you have provided on the registration page. Moreover, all the players will be insured.

What equipment does my child need to bring along?

It is advised that participants bring the following:

  1. Water bottle
  2. Backpack bag
  3. Basketball shoes
  4. Medication (if required) such as insulin, etc (in case the participant is under 18 please ensure that a parent or guardian is present to dispense medication)

Participants will be presented with a training shirt, a pair of shorts, a pair of socks and a reusable drink bottle on the first day of the camp.

Who are the coaches for the camp?

Basketball training to be given by The Ball Family members and former NBA players.

What language will the camp be conducted in?

The teaching language for the camp will be English.
